Is Catwoman Getting Her Own Arkham City DLC Episodes?

Earlier in the year, we reported that Batman: Arkham City would feature the seductive Catwoman as a playable character alongside Batman and Robin. If that didn’t get you excited for the game…
The limited collector’s edition of the strategy guide to Arkham City reveals some interesting stuff. Aside from the standard “find all the collectibles, tips to beat the bosses, etc.” that’s in every strategy guide, the pre-order form offers exclusive coverage of Catwoman’s DLC content - 4 episodes worth. That means you get to whip dudes in the face 4 more times! There’s no confirmation on the behalf of WB, DC or Rocksteady, but then again, they may have been planning to reveal this since they’ve revealed practicallyeverything else about the game.
Something also worth noting is that Arkham Asylum had DLC in the form of challenge maps, where the Dark Knight had combat and stealth missions. Whether these episodes fall into the same category or are story-based remains to be seen, along with finding out if this treatment is exclusive to Catwoman, or if the Dark Knight and Boy Wonder will get some DLC of their own. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear anything.
Batman: Arkham City swoops into stores on October 18 for the 360, PS3, and PC. You could go and pre-order the limited collector’s edition of the strategy guide, or you can inevitably come to RipTen for a video series of Achievement/Trophy guides! Your pick.
