It has been a long time since I first saw the Onza, Razer's professional-grade Xbox 360 controller; though it made its debut at CES 2010 and has made appearances at a number of tradeshows since, it has only now been finalized for production. So, what's changed over the last year and a half? Quite a bit.
From the very beginning, the Onza's staple features included adjustable resistance for both analog sticks, two additional shoulder buttons that can be digitally remapped for a variety of functions, and a specialized d-pad. However, many elements of the controller have been tweaked and revised in the finalized version.
The resistance adjustment mechanism, which allows users to manually adjust the tension of the analog thumbsticks for either more rigid or fluid motion, has been significantly improved. In earlier encounters, twisting the dials underneath the thumbsticks resulted in only slight changes in resistance, whereas now there is a much larger range of tension, allowing for finer adjustments.
The edges of the controller also no longer feature green LED illumination, and the d-pad now sports four individual directional buttons with concave indentation to replicate the feel of the original Xbox 360 controller design.
The other key feature of the Onza is its dual shoulder button design, which adds an extra set of shoulder buttons, which can be remapped to serve a variety of functions, for instance, L3 or R3 commands. On a standard Xbox 360 controller, pushing in on the thumbsticks will enable sprinting, melee, or in FPS titles, steady aim, however, attempting to depress the thumbstick while aiming or moving in a specific direction can have disastrous results, like missing crucial headshot opportunities or meleeing too soon.

More news on the Wii 2
The Wii 2 is code-named Cafe. Also there's rumor it will have tablet support, do I care? Not really.
Because I'm too damn lazy... I ripped this from Gamespot. Enjoy.

What we heard: Yesterday, the game-industry news matrix was roiled by rumors that Nintendo may unveil the Wii's successor at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June. Hot on the heels of that speculation comes new purported details about the new console, the existence of which has not been confirmed by Nintendo.
According to CVG's sources, the new console's controller will sport "built-in" HD video screens. "Nintendo's plans sound unreal," the source said. "Publishers are already planning launch titles and it's all very exciting. The hardware is even more powerful than current HD consoles and backwards compatible with Wii."
But that's not all. According to 01net.com, the controller will be a tablet, or an "iPad with buttons." The French site also reports the console--apparently code-named Project Café--will have a beefy triple-core IBM CPU not unlike that of the Xbox 360, making porting games to the console easier than before. Indeed, the site reports that Nintendo is making third-party outreach a major priority for its next console, given the perception the Wii was slanted in favor of first-party software.

Dungeon Siege III - Reinhart Manx
Red Faction: Armageddon -- Questions Answered
It's a tough life when you're the developer of the Red Faction series. Those guys spend months building a fantastical depiction of human life on Mars, complete with shiny space vehicles and sweet alien-inspired architecture, and then you, the gamer, come in and blast it all to smithereens. You probably kick over sand castles too, you big meanie.
Red Faction: Armageddon, the latest in Volition's highly destructible series, is set half a century after the Red Faction resistance freed Mars, in a time when the red planet has once again become a battleground. Colonists are struggling for survival in the underground mines after the surface is rendered uninhabitable. When Darius Mason, grandson of revolution heroes Alec Mason and Samanya, unknowingly releases a long-dormant evil, Armageddon is unleashed on Mars.
Want to know more? Then why not ask the team at developer Volition yourselves? IGN is hosting a Facebook thread and they will select their favourites and flick them over to the development team. How will they choose? Basically, they are looking for Red Faction fans that provide us with interesting, intelligent and thought-provoking questions - and please keep them short and to the point. If you're lucky, they will post your question with the answer on the IGN page.

Wii 2 - Information
Good news that the new Wii is backwards compatible.
According to multiple reports today, Nintendo will reveal a new console at E3 this coming June.
Game Informer first reported that the console is capable of running games at "HD resolutions." Our sources have said the the console is significantly more powerful than the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and that Nintendo's intent is to recapture the hardcore market. Another source said it is capable of 1080p resolutions.
Nintendo is reportedly showing the console to publishers to garner interest for a late 2012 launch.
Dungeon Siege III - Katarina
Katarina is quick and easy to control. Each character has two stances; in Katarina's case, she can switch from a rifle to a shotgun-pistol dual wield combination. The playthrough starts in the open air, battling some particularly gruesome giant spiders, though slowly and at distance as it's a fragile pairing at hand; both Katarina and Anjali seem to be damage dealers, though Anjali has better survivability in her human form. Katarina's attacks work well at range, but excessive use of her knockback special attack and dodge is required to stay alive.
There's also a range of special attacks, buffs and debuffs for each character, much like Borderlands; for example, at recruit level Katarina can debuff enemies with her shotgun, or heal herself, and each attack can also be empowered, which produces some bonus effects. As Feargus puts it, "It's not like you have to be Ninja Gaiden to be successful - but you do have to be using all your abilities in combat."
As you'd expect from an RPG it comes with a fleshed out levelling system, but where it differs from some other action RPGs is that the world is open and can be revisited, even if its plot is linear. Having defeated the spiders, we wander off in the wrong direction but a quick press of the d-pad brings up a Fable-like breadcrumb trail that sets us back on the right path.

BlizzCon tickets go on sale May 21 & 25
$175 passes to October 21-22 fan convention hit the market in just over a month; $500 benefit dinner tickets up for grabs on May 28.
In February, Blizzard Entertainment announced that this year's BlizzCon would run from October 21-22, in virtually the same slot as last year's October 22-23 expo. However, the developer-publisher offered little other information on the annual convention dedicated to its various games, including World of Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft, and Warcraft.

However, the developer-publisher offered little other information on the annual convention dedicated to its various games, including World of Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft, and Warcraft.
Today, Blizzard revealed when tickets to the eagerly awaited event would go on sale. Passes will be offered in two batches at $175 each, a $25 increase over last year. The first will be offered at Saturday, May 21 at 10 a.m. PDT and the second on Wednesday, May 25 at 7 p.m. PDT. Both will be offered via the official BlizzCon website,www.blizzcon.com. In prior years, tickets to the event, held at the Anaheim Convention Center, sold out in a matter of minutes.
In addition to regular admission tickets, Blizzard will be offering entry to the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner. Set to be held on Thursday, October 20, the dinner is being billed as an "exclusive event" that will let attendees mingle with Blizzard developers prior to the show. Tickets are $500 each and include a regular BlizzCon admission ticket, with proceeds from the event going to the Children's Hospital of Orange County. Only 200 passes to the dinner will be sold starting Saturday, May 28 at 10 a.m. PDT, also through the BlizzCon website.
So far this year's BlizzCon details are thin, other than it will feature tournaments, community contests, discussion panels, and other miscellaneous events.
