Gamers Heart Japan
Gamers Heart Japan is a collaboration of gamers, developers and everyone in between who've worked together and put a small (one hour) video together to help the community work together and bring needed attention to the problems in Japan. All of our favorite video game developers have come together to share their favorite Japanese gaming moments and raise some money.
You can help too!
Please visit Gamers Heart Japan and help donate even the smallest amount to help everyone's favorite country get back on their feet. People seriously don't understand the impact the earthquake has had on the world and their economy, gaming, electronics etc.
Members of the global videogame community have come together in an unprecedented effort to create a special video to show their appreciation for the Japanese game industry and to raise donations for Red Cross relief efforts for the people of Japan. The 9.0 magnitude earthquake and resulting tsunami that struck Japan on Friday March 11, 2011, has caused widespread destruction and suffering. Thousands of people are reported dead and many more are injured or missing. The earthquake has caused fires and severe damage to buildings, leaving millions of households without electricity. The Japanese Red Cross has been on the ground since the disaster began and has sent response teams to provide first aid and emergency healthcare, as well as distributing relief items.Japanese Red Cross medical teams have been providing vital medical care to those hit by the disaster. The Japanese Red Cross Society is also offering counseling and emotional support to survivors who have lost their homes and traditional way of life. Funds raised will be used to support Red Cross emergency response efforts in Japan. This may include relief items (blankets, sleeping mats, and hygiene items), medical supplies and equipment and deploying emergency personnel. As the disaster shifts from the emergency to recovery phase assessments will be done to determine how the Red Cross can best support longer-term relief and recovery efforts in affected communities.

Call of Duty players in Bad Company 2
Know what really pisses me off? The Call of Duty players who think they are actually good. They run around with light weight pack and a medic and try to stab people. Well let me tell you this, that shit doesn't work. The stab doesn't kill you when you slice their shoelace. You have to actually sneak up and work for the kill.
Or the rejects who think they are helping by taking the helicopter or tank and not picking anyone up and getting blown up in a matter of seconds. I understand you have to use things to get better at them, but if you see a rank 50 running towards it, let them fly.
Or what about the tank people who sit back and don't push forward. Yes you can help, but if you don't have the armor pushing forward to support the ground troops, the other team can easily defend or attack.
Just frustrates me to see a whole team not helping each other. Luckily I have a bunch of like-minded friends who communicate and call targets and help support each other. If people actually pressed the BACK button they would help their entire team out by 1000%! But, it's the Call of Duty players who don't want to call out a target because they are afraid of losing a kill. THIS IS NOT CALL OF DUTY! It's a team based military shooter.
Anyway, that's the end of my rant. Just can't stand watching people not play the game well, even at high ranks. Or the snipers that use a red dot (so sad). Or the vast majority of Call of Duty players who can't use any gun without the red dot. I love my uzi! I can outshoot anyone with a "horrible gun".
The bottom line is this:
Call of Duty: Gun makes the player
Bad Company 2: The player makes the gun

Nvidia GTX 590 vs ATI 6990
This little battle was taken from GPU Wars on Youtube. Personally I would buy the Nvidia regardless of the price. Why? Because I have had only good experiences with Nvidia drivers compared to ATI. I bought a Sapphire 9800 Pro and had nothing but issues with the drivers then. I am not sure if ATI has updated their drivers, but I just couldn't care about ATI.
Even though they say the ATI is a faster card, Nvidia wil always be my #1 choice.
ROUND ONE!
NVIDIA GTX 590 vs AMD RADEON 6990 Round 1: Length, Size & Measurements
ROUND TWO!
NVIDIA GTX 590 vs AMD RADEON 6990 Round 2: Heat, Noise & Power Consumption
ROUND THREE!!!!!!!!
NVIDIA GTX 590 vs AMD RADEON 6990 Round 3: Performance Review & Conclusion
Ding Ding Ding!!
6990:+ runs a little cooler
+ a little cheaper
- much louder
- marginally inferior performance in some tests /
+ marginally superior performance in some tests
590: +marginally superior perforfmance in some tests
- marginally inferior performance in some tests
- a litle more expensive
- quieter
- runs a little hotter
Ultimately the cards really are very hard to differentiate according to performance and specs.
The only factor really being pushed is the noise level of the 6990.
Also bare drivers and compatibility in mind when buying one.

Kick ass!
So again I played some Battlefield Bad Company 2 on the XBOX 360. For at least 10 games I was placing first with 24 players. I was scoring from 2000 - 4500 while the other team's top player had 1200 points. Yeah, I wasn't getting a lot of kills (18-25 kills), but I was arming between 3-5 crates in rush mode.
If anyone wants to play with me and my friends, my XBOX name is Mr Fusco.
So come and join me and my buddies and we'll have a grand ol' time.

Crysis 2 - Already being hacked
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, one of the top hacked game has showed what happens to a game where there's little to no support from the developers and non-dedicated servers. Hacking games is nothing new in the gaming world, but things are now getting to a point where people can't even play without trying to exploit them to their advantages.
Now we have Crysis 2 - Crytek's newest baby.
Series developer says it's taking cheating "very seriously" and that it will penalize offenders.
Crytek's urban jungle shooter Crysis 2 landed last week behind a warm reception. In addition to a single-player campaign, the game boasts a multiplayer component, which is currently being slammed by exploits, says Crytek.
A message on the Crysis 2 portal of Electronic Arts' website states Crytek is aware of the exploits currently active in the game and that the developer is working to permanently remove these opportunities. Additionally, Crytek said it plans to penalize those taking advantage of the aforesaid exploits.
As for the game, Crysis 2 sees players fend off an alien threat once again, aided by a nanosuit that grants the user superhuman abilities ranging from speed boosts to active camouflage.
